E3: Live at Microsoft Conference

-You can talk to game characters. Your conversations with them dictate their facial and body expressions. If you say something good, he'll be happy, vice versa. Like an interactive gaming friend.

- Development kits for Project Natal are being sent out today to developers.

-"Paint Party" for Project Natal, shows off how you can use your body and arms to paint. Also your voice can control what colors. Just say what you want. Seems to work decently, not that accurate. Controls all over the place, not worth showing off. Accuracy is decent, sometimes works great, others not impressive.

- Creative Director of Project Natal takes stage (douche with sunglasses on inside), showing off demos of new dashboard: Xbox knows who signed on because it was SEE you. It will log you in. Use your hands to move the menu left and right. Takes dig at Nintendo, says it's more realistic than some predetermined "waggle" commands.

-Steven Spielberg a fan of "Project Natal." Spielberg helped with project, claiming the goal was to "make the technology invisible." Call this moment monumental in gaming. Claims Microsoft didn't reinvent the wheel... "there's no wheel at all."

-"Project Natal," this new feature... will come soon to Xbox. Breakthrough sensor, tracking 3D movements and voice, face recognition. Will be compatible with all Xbox 360 models. No new consoles needed.

-Full facial recognition. You can now talk and see your friends via Xbox, use your hands to move pages, communication with friends. Play games like Buzz! with voice recognition. Call our an answer, and it knows who answered it.

-It scans your own equipment, such as your personal skateboard, imports it into the game. Now you can skateboard with YOUR skateboard.

-Motion coming to Xbox. No controller required. Follows your motions. Literally can drive a car with no controller. Feels like a joke. Accurately despites your motions by sensing your bodies location.

- Senior VP of Xbox takes the stage...brings out METAL GEAR SOLID creator, announces brand new game METAL GEAR SOLID: RISING, franchise will now be on Xbox 360.

-Twitter also announced for Xbox use. Streamlined, with your avatar adorably added to your menu. Both services launch this Fall.

-Facebook partnership announced. Annoying valley girl writer from The Guild, Felicia, takes the stage. She shows off Facebook on Xbox, custom made and streamlined for console/ TV use. She stutters while reading the prompter, I laugh. Facebook Connect announced, captures gaming moments, like Tiger Woods PGA 10 screenshots can be sent to friends.

-XBox Live can now enjoy music, movies and games with friends. Sharing the experience by allowing users to enjoy the same thing with friends over the network, like a Xbox360 Home.

-ZUNE video this fall to launch. Upgrading video service to 1080p. All movies can be enjoyed instantly..no discs or downloads needed. Instant. 18 countries now offering the service.

-Sky TV adds partnership for UK this fall for Live TV. ( I think if you unhook the xbox, you get live tv too? ;))

-Netflix partnership discussed. Netflix capabilities now without PC, just hit play.

-XBLA to add music. Exclusive partnership with last.fm (isn't FM dead buddy? satellites the future) Last.fm will be available, offering instant access to music to Gold members for free.

-Monologue adds to the "you're in a movie" vibe. Visually stunning game. A bulldozer just knocked down the house that Alan Wake was standing... then gameplay video ending. Game will debut Spring 2010.

- Playing game on stage, Alan Wake tries to unlock the mystery regarding his wife's disappearance... "Alan Wake" is like a suspense thriller video game, following third person as Alan sets out in the dark woods on his mission. Monologue seems present through the game, but not consistently throughout gameplay. Eerie silence in dark woods, very much like a Stephen King novel. Game looks fantastic!

- When you buy "Halo 3 ODST," you'll get beta multiplayer of "Halo Reach" included.

-Secret Bungie title announced... trailer showing it off...planets and space, explosions all over the planet. "Halo Reach" brand new title, Debuts in 2010
