OLG Profiler: Xbox 360 Case Moder

Chocolate City Customs may sound like a tasty bakery, but they actually mod and repair Xbox 360 consoles. Some of their previous mods include themes of Batman, the Joker, Michael Jackson and Gears of War. Above, I posted a video of their DanceDanceRevolution case mod, which is pretty freakin' awesome if you ask me. Below, is their video for a recent case mod featuring Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat.

The company is based out of Baltimore, Maryland, so if you are looking for a custom case mod, they take requests at cccustoms360@yahoo.com

New Super Mario Bros. Wii controller shell

Forget about the Classic Controller! Introducing PDP's New Super Mario Bros. Wii themed Wii Remote shell adapter. This adapter attaches to your Wii Remote, acting like a SNES controller of sorts (minus the R, L and 4 button layout). The larger buttons and better placement truly makes using the Wii Remote sideways a pleasure rather than a pain. The controller shell debuts this Holiday season around the launch of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, for only $9.99.

New 'Blur' power-up trailer

This new trailer for Blur shows off the 5 different power-ups. My personal favorite is naturally shooting rockets. This game is like James Bond meets Mario Kart on crack. The game launches November 3rd.

An Open Letter...

Dear Ubisoft;

Less than 20 days left until TMNT: Smash Up gets released. You still have (at least) 5 characters unannounced according to your official website's roster (since you revealed at least 2 Rabbids previously). Who are they? I'm hitting refresh on your website about 40 times a day. Bebop? Rocksteady? Tokka? Rahzar? Krang? Please tell me. K, thanks.

Love,

OneLifeGamer

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, new level detailed

A new single-player level for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is available now for Xbox 360 owners through Xbox LIVE Marketplace and for PlayStation 3 owners through the PlayStation Network. The level features The “Secret Apprentice” in a mission that continues the story of The Force Unleashed taking the Star Wars Saga in an entirely new and unexpected direction.

The mission begins at the end of the story of The Force Unleashed and re-imagines the Saga as if the Secret Apprentice had killed Darth Vader and taken his place at the Emperor’s side, becoming the most powerful Sith Lord in the universe. The story picks up as the Emperor sends his new apprentice to the planet Tatooine to dispatch Obi-Wan Kenobi - who has been hiding on the planet ever since the events of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith. During their hunt for the reclusive Jedi, players will also explore the depths of Jabba the Hutt’s palace and encounter notorious bounty hunter Boba Fett.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed completely re-imagines the scope and scale of the Force and casts players as Darth Vader’s “Secret Apprentice,” unveiling new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy seen through the eyes of a mysterious new character armed with unprecedented powers. Originally released in September 2008, the game quickly became the fastest-selling Star Wars game ever, and has since sold six million units worldwide.

Wii Fit Plus priced and dated

Wii Fit Plus, the enhanced version of the extremely popular fitness software title Wii Fit, will be hitting store shelves October 4th. Instead of being a sequel, the game serves as a revamped title, trying to build upon what the original title offered.

Wii Fit Plus will add customization, allowing users to pick areas on their body they want to focus on, and picking exercises that correspond. The game also adds a slew of new mini-games, including Segway themed games. You simply lean on the balance board in the direction you want to move, just like the with a real Segway.

Additionally, the game will replace current Wii Fit models at retail, upping the bundled price (includes Wii Balance Board) to $99.99. Those who own the original and want the enhanced version of the game can purchase it for a mere $19.99

The DSi features dual cameras, as well as built in Wi-Fi and its own App-store of sorts called the DSi Shop Channel. The handheld retails for $169.99, with the new colors available September 13th.

Additionally, Nintendo has announced that a Wii Remote and Wii MotionPlus bundle will arrive this holiday season, in black. The new color was first seen in Japan, as part of a console and controller lineup to help launch the release of the popular game Monster Hunter 3. Nintendo will also be selling their Nunchuk controller in black as well. No console color options have been announced for North America, but such an announced could probably come after the holiday season.
