Fuji Soft has announced their video service, Minna no Theater Wii, will officially hit all Wii's in Japan tomorrow the 17th, that is if you download it. The deal with Fuji Soft is to bring 250 movie titles during a gradual period, similar to games on the Wii Shop Channel. After purchasing the channel for 500 Wii Points, you are free to browse and stream tons of videos. The charge for streaming most videos is 300 points, allowing you 2 days of viewing time.
And those concerned that the Wii's graphical capabilities will muddy the picture quality? Nonsense! Nintendo promises DVD quality. Currently, films like Mission Impossible and Eagle Eye are available.
