2K Games has finally announced the release date to the much anticipated BioShock 2. The game will release February 9, 2010. The game is the sequel to Bio Shock, a title that won over 50 "Game of the Year" awards. Below is a description of the game, taken from the official press release:
[Set approximately 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the halls of Rapture once again echo with sins of the past. Along the Atlantic coastline, a monster has been snatching little girls and bringing them back to the undersea city of Rapture.
