If you've played BIT.TRIP.BEAT, you know how hard the game is. The save function only works if you achieve a high score in the game. Additionally, you need to achieve a high score in order to progress and unlock the different levels, which is really difficult to do. Well, Gaijin Games announced this is actually more of a glitch.
Only the US version was affected, but there is a solution to unlocking all the levels. Simply click this link, and you can download the code to unlock all levels. In order to install the update, you need an SD card and to follow these steps below:
- Right click and choose “Save Link As…” or “Save Target As…”.
- Browse to the file on your computer and rename it “data.bin”.
- Copy data.bin to your SD Card in the following location: \private\wii\title\WTRE.
- Insert the SD Card into the front of your Wii Console.
- Browse to the Wii Save Data Management screen via the Wii Options Button on the lower left-hand corner of the Wii Menu.
- Erase the BIT.TRIP BEAT save data stored on your Wii.
- Click on the SD Card tab.
- Click on the BIT.TRIP BEAT save data icon and select “Copy”.
The above steps will copy the save data from the SD Card to your Wii and the next time you play BIT.TRIP BEAT, your new levels will be unlocked.
