How do video game movies rank?

With the news of World of Warcraft coming to the big screen, it seems like the perfect time to reflect upon other games that have transitioned to the big screen. Here are some notable scores from Rotten Tomatoes, which rank's films based on multiple critic reviews from 1% (terrible) to 100% (amazing).
----------------------------------------------------------------
Doom - 20%
"A nifty piece of low-ambition entertainment..."

Dragonball: Evolution - 13%
"For anyone writing it off as a kiddie film, [it] should be considered child abuse."
-Diva Velez, The Diva Review

Double Dragon - 00% (ever see that before?)
"Nonsense."
-Clint Morris, Moviehole

Mortal Kombat -
24%
"Like watching a lot of sweaty fist fights while trapped in the world's loudest night club."
-Scott Weinberg, eFilmCritic.com

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider - 19%
"Jolie kept her side of the deal, everyone else owes her big time."
-Harry Guerlin, RTE Interactive

Resident Evil - 34%
"Entertainment in dire need of its own self-assurance."

Super Mario Bros. -
6%
"They should have used cheat codes to make this a winner."
-Gerry Shamray, Sun Newspapers of Cleveland

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li - 4%
"Quite simply an embarrassment that cannot crawl into ignoble obscurity fast enough"
- Mark Pollard, Kung Fu Cinema

Okay well I guess this proved that maybe we should be worried about future video game to movie adaptations. After all, these were just some of the titles that came to mind, and well, the reviews speak for themselves.
