No more 'No More Hereos' on Wii

I'm a brand man. I really find that the developers and publishers are as important as the game itself when it comes to releasing a quality title. Like how Rare became overnight celebrities after they released Goldeneye. Anyway...

Grasshopper CEO Goichi Suda told Edge "I really want to make NMH a big franchise, and with this second episode have bigger success. I'm putting a lot of care into developing this IP, as I feel there's a lot of potential."

He continued, "I think this is the last NMH that is going to be developed on Wii. To expand NMH to new possibilities, we need a new platform. Wii is a great platform, but we've done everything we can with it now." Excuuuuse me?

UPDATE: Suda himself has spoken about his misquote to 1UP in an exclusive interview. While he feels the series is over on the Wii, he wants to continue with Nintendo, and a possible Wii HD release. Nintendo fanboys can breathe a sigh of relief.
