Although Game Informer said earlier this month that a brand new GTA could be released this year, that rumor has been squashed.Reps for Rockstar have spoken to Kotaku, claiming there is "no truth" to those reports. There is however a second downloadable episode of GTA IV to be released before the end of October.
That, in addition to the DS release of GTA: Chinatown Wars means 2009 will have plenty of theft, arson, murder and drug dealing to go around.
