Aside from being loved by fans and critics from around the globe, Little Big Planet is now getting some well deserved recognition from The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. The Academy just selected nominees for its 12th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards, which will take place February 19th.Little Big Planet was awarded 10 nominations. Other notable titles that each have multiple nominations, are Fallout 3, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Left 4 Dead.
Some of Little Big Planet's nominations are for Console Game of the Year, Overall Game of the Year, and Outstanding Innovations in Gaming.
