Sony Pictures has given fans a double dose of good news, thanks to a new press release. Not only will June see the Blu-ray release of Ghostbusters the film, but the forthcoming video game will release then as well. Currently, both the movie and Ghostbusters: The Video Game have a release date of June 16.There are technically three different versions of the game arriving. Terminal Reality will develope the PS3, Xbox360 and PC version. Red Fly Studios are developing the Wii and PS2 version, while Zen Studios has the DS covered. Atari will be publishing all versions of the game.
The press release did not clarify what gaming systems would get the title on June 16th, so all system owners should plan on a summer filled with proton packs and bustin' ghosts.
UPDATE: Atari has confirmed that the game will launch on all platforms June 16th!
