Twistel Pixel Games will be unleashing their single-player action-adventure epic The Maw to the Xbox Live Arcade in the near future, and it looks like it might be a keeper. You play the game as Frank, an alien who harnesses the power of a googly-eyed blob called The Maw to find his way home. Hints of A Boy and His Blob can't be a bad thing.TPG claims this will be a fully-formed game with real 3D graphics, a lengthy campaign, and everything. Which would be a welcome change from all the noisy arcade shooters and retro 2D nostalgia hogs we've come to expect from XBLA.
