I initially bought my DS Lite because of Mario Kart DS's Wi-Fi mode. Little did I know at the time that the DS Lite doesn't come with Wi-Fi capabilities. I didn't feel like paying the extra bucks to have my DS connect, especially after dropping the 170 bucks on the system and the game.Fast forward more than a year later when I opened my brand new DSi (given as an amazing birthday present). I surely hadn't forgotten that this beautiful ice blue baby comes Wi-Fi ready, since one of its biggest selling features to me was the DSi Shop. However, I did forget that now i can play those previous games like Mario Kart DS in Wi-Fi mode!
I'm sure there are plenty of advantages to the DSi, this is just one of them that although obvious to some, I hadn't previously seen publicized.
