Adventure Island: The Beginning Trailer

Well color me confused! After looking at the debut trailer for Adventure Island for Wii Ware, my heart says yes but my brain says no. It looks pretty awful in terms of graphics. I don't even know what style I'd call it. Maybe like "vintage MS DOS game graphics?" It could just be the trailer (or the screenshots) but I'm not sold. The game will hit Japan for 1000 Wii Points this April.
