King of Kong Continues at E3

While this year's GDC may have been less than stellar, E3 2009 is setting itself up to be a glorious affair. But how can we ensure E3 is nothing short of epic? By having All-American everyman/underdog Steve Wiebe slaughter Billy Mitchell's Donkey Kong record.

Wiebe, the lovable protagonist of the 2007 documentary "King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters," will be attempting to break super patriot Billy Mitchell's million plus score on Donkey Kong. While a lot of the Wiebe/Mitchell rivalry is the result of post production wizardry, it's still a conflict for the ages.

The record breaking attempt will be broadcast live on G4 during this years E3. And if you haven't seen King of Kong, then stop what you're doing and hop to it.
