Ever since Satoru Iwata's claim that Wii sales in Japan are "the most unhealthy situation since its launch..." it has brought some concern for the little white waggle machine. Although there is a definite slowdown of Wii sales in Japan, isn't that kind of expected at this point?First of all, Wii has sold phenomenally well up until this point. It's only natural for it to start coming down, especially in its third year.
Wii has yet to see a price cut or a color addition. While we received a glimpse of the array of colors during the Revolution days, a second Wii color will absolutely boost sluggish sales. Not to mention the slump of Nintendo triple-A quality gameage!
Bottom line? Nintendo knows what they're doing. Any struggles are just more of an indication that E3 is gonna rock your soiled socks.
