Target to target Game Reservations

Target has announced plans to introduce a video game reservation program. Starting on the 19th of this month, customers can purchase the $1 reservation card. Once the game releases, customers have 7 days to return the card and purchase the game. Those who do, will receive a $5 Target gift card to put towards a future purchase.

Not only is the extra $5 an incentive, but finally Target will guarantee a game to be in stock the day of its release. I never understood why it is so hard for retailers to get on top of stocking video games, but this sounds like a great program. Good work, Target.
