According to a tipster who sent Kotaku a camera-phone picture of K-Mart's database, the PlayStation 2 is set to get a price reduction next week to $99.This adds confirmation to the news that K-Mart would be advertising the price cut in their upcoming circular, sent out April 5th.
While I always enjoy a price cut, doesn't everyone already have a PS2. And if you don't, isn't it a bit late? That's like saying, "oh wow, one of those Nintendo Gamecubes! I have to get one of those." It just sounds weird.
