Super Mario Galaxy may have been released in 2007, but it's still winning awards here in 2009.The game took home the Best Game award for The GAME British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Super Mario Galaxy beat out Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Rock Band, Fable II, Fallout 3 and Grand Theft Auto IV for the coveted Best Game award. Super Mario Galaxy and other notable 2007 titles were eligible because of a scheduling conflict which had canceled the awards show last year. Still, despite two years worth of competition, Mario was able to take the top rank, all while saving the princess.
The GAME awards were voted upon by over 60,000 people.
