Need For Speed: SHIFT, The Next, Next Gen Racer

EA has just announced that the newest Need for Speed installment is set to debut this fall for the PS3, Xbox360, PSP and PC. Need for Speed: SHIFT will feature the largest roster of high-performance cars in the franchises history. Some whips to cruise in (do I sound hip?) are the Pagani Zonda, Porsche 911 GT2 and the Lotus Elise.

"With Need for Speed: SHIFT, we set out to create a racing game that pushes the genre and delivers something never before seen in a Need for Speed title," said Patrick Soderlund, Senior Vice President at EA Games Europe.

The game is set to debut September 18th in Europe.
