While the world is suffering from an economic crisis that Nintendo has seemed to avoid, the gaming company has announced plans to raise the price of the Wii in the UK.
The main reason for the price increase is because of the depreciation of the pound.
Nintendo has also stated that while the company has no plans of increasing the trade price of existing software for the Wii or DS, retailers may use the Wii increase as reason to do so themselves. Luckily for DS lovers, the DSi and the DS lite will not see any price increases at this time.
