With Aerosmith and Metallica having their own exclusive Guitar Hero games, Activision has wasted no time planning the next band centric edition. Rumor has it that Guitar Hero: Van Halen will debut shortly after the release of Guitar Hero: Metallica, according to Joystiq.The game will feature all the great Van Halen tracks like "Jump" and "Hot for Teacher" while also featuring songs from other rock bands, like Judas Priest.
Looks like 2009 is turning out to be the year of the Guitar Hero with the new DS GH: Modern Hits game, a GH: Greatest Hits compilation, GH: Metallica, GH: Van Halen and potentially Guitar Hero 5... jeebus!
So tease your hair, rips your jeans and get ready to rock out once again.
