Sometimes IGN will get insider information, and share it with the world prior to official announcements. However, sometimes that information is wrong.According to IGN's Nintendo podcast, the group stated that Nintendo was having some issues with the device, and is currently working to "figure out a few hiccups."
However, Nintendo has responded to game site CVG, claiming that "no date was ever announced for MotionPlus - so technically it can't be delayed." Although technically true, the device was confirmed for a Spring release as far back as E3. Either way, we should find out sooner than later.
