Final Fantasy XIII and Strong Bad

What do Final Fantasy XIII and Strong Bad have in common? They push things to the limit.

With Strong Bad it's "fhqwhgads," and in Final Fantasy XIII's case it's Playstation 3s. At least that's what Square Enix is touting.

In a recent pow-wow with Kotaku, FFXIII producer Yoshinori Kitase was asked how much of the PS3's power would his latest epic use. His response was simple: "Doesn't the demo use about 50 percent of its power? Of course, I think the retail version will make use of nearly 100 percent."

Kitase also noted that FFXIII would push the PS3 in the same ways that FFVII and FFX set bars for the PS1 and PS2 respectively. Another item of note is that there will be no disc swapping thanks to the PS3's Blu-ray format and hard drive.

An attachment of Sega CD proportions can only be expected for 360 users.
