BlazBlue fans in Europe can finally rest knowing that the critically acclaimed 2D fighter will be releasing early next year. The game, created by Arc Works Systems, has already been released in Japan and the US.
BlazBlue takes on a gothic anime style, with hand drawn sprites in high definition similar to the look of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. The European version of the game will also feature more content, including a strategy guide, music soundtrack and new characters.
Tomo Ohno, the head of Zen United, reported that “BlazBlue reached number 1 in the Japanese arcades and already sales of the Japanese and US console versions have beaten forecasts”. Check out a couple more screenshots below:
