Derrick Rose on NBA 2K10: Draft Combine

Before the fall release of NBA 2K10, 2K Sports is giving players a little pre-season action with the downloadable title, NBA 2K10 Draft Combine.

In a nutshell, Draft Combine lets you create a custom player who trains his way up the draft ranks through exercises at a Chicago gym. Your character will have thirty attributes to improve by perfecting various drills. When 2K10 launches, you can then draft your personal character into the NBA, complete with all the skill points you've earned. Awesome.

But what NBA face will champion this new DLC feature? None other than 2009 T-Mobile Rookie of the Year Derrick Rose, point guard for the Chicago Bulls. NBA 2K10: Draft Combine will tap into Rose's personal knowledge and experience training for the NBA Draft.

"NBA 2K:10 Draft Combine will be a place where fans can experience the life of a player trying to make it into the NBA," Rose said. "The drills are challenging, and the group scrimmages are always extremely competitive with everyone looking to improve their draft stock as well."

You can get your NBA career started with Draft Combine in late September.
