Mark your calendars Xbox Live Gold subscribers because on August 19th (the first day of GamesCom in Cologne, Germany) a multiplayer demo for Lost Planet 2 will be up for download on the XBL Marketplace.
The demo is poised to show off the latest arsenal of weapons as well as the HD glory of LP2's MT Framework 2.0 engine. To give you a clue as to what that means, MT Framework 1.0 was used on games like Dead Rising, the first Lost Planet, and Devil May Cry 4. And version 1.5 gave us the stellar graphics of Resident Evil 5.
In a nutshell, MT Framework 2.0 should make the tundras, jungles, and deserts of E.D.N. III should be glorious to behold. We'll let you know more on August 19th.
