Pokemon Gold & Silver Coming to DS

Hot on the heels of Pokemon Platinum stellar sales (5.66 million copies worldwide) comes wind of the DS' next Pokemon outing. At this year's Pokemon World Championships, Nintendo announced that Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver will be hitting the US and Europe next spring.

HearGold and SoulSilver will allow players to return to the Johto region, which came to life on GameBoys nearly a decade ago. The new version will feature updated graphics and a roster of classic Pokemon that many new fans will be seeing for the first time.
