Hideo Kojima: 2009 GDC Keynote Speaker

It's on like Donkey Kong Otacon! Metal Gear Solid creator and Voice of God, Hideo Kojima will be the keynote speaker at this years Game Developers Conference.

The title of his message is "Solid Game Design: Making the 'Impossible' Possible." Condescending maybe, but the man is a master of his craft.

The speech will no doubt contain highly philosophical banter on the nature of loyalty and the complexity of animal/emotion boss names. If you happen to be in the San Francisco area (and are a game developer or "swanky" media outlet) you can check the speech out for yourself March 26th at the Moscone Convention Center.

The speech starts at 10 A.M., but you may want to get there early to kick around any cardboard boxes you see. Word is David Hayter is always within 100 feet of Mr. Kojima, poised and ready to strike.

And on a side note, Konami reps can contact me via email with OLG's ticket information for the event. I made my wife stand in a two mile long nerd line outside of NYC's Virgin Mega Store to meet Mr. Kojima for the MGS4 release. Four hours later the store manager informed the remaining line that Mr. Kojima had left the building. Oh, and this was on our honeymoon...

Approximately 24 hours before I ruined the honeymoon for m'lady.

Seriously, send those tickets Hideo. You owe me.
