With all the hubbub over soon to be released mega titles like Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5, handheld gamers can feel a little isolated. As a PSP owner that's a fairly typical feeling, but it's not something I'm accustomed to with my DS.Well fear not minions as Square Enix's latest entry into its esteemed Valkyrie Profile series hits US shores March 17, 2009.
This latest piece to the Ragnarok puzzle is called Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume, and is exclusive to the DS. Check out the trailer below!
Sqeenix seems to be sticking in the JRPG realm with its official description:
"The protagonist is a young soldier, Wylfred, who harbours a hatred for the Valkyries, especially Lenneth Valkyrie, who used his father as an Einherjar when he was ten years old."
The description goes on from here, but you get the gist. Regardless of conventions, Covenant of the Plume should be one fun RPG. Check back for Valkyrie Profile news, reviews, videos, and screens.
