Oh, those dead. Just when you thought they couldn't rise again, you catch them ambling toward your brain meats. Not everyone didn't already expect this announcement, but Capcom has confirmed that Dead Rising 2 is a go, and they've even released some pics.The biggest news here (and, again, stuff we already knew) is that DR2 will not be an Xbox 360 exclusive like its predecessor and will see simultaneous release on the PS3. No word yet, however, on when or if the Wii will see an unglier, less fun version of its very own.
DR2 takes the zombie killin' action out of a mall and into a casino-riddled Vegas knockoff called Fortune City. I thought the whole Vegas obsession died around the same time as Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher's careers, but I can't say I'm not looking forward to whacking an undead with one of those baccarat paddles. I might even yell "Carte!" at the screen if I can dust off my French accent in time.
