According to Variety, the Saw video game, based off the popular film series, has been saved from near extinction.
Ever since Brash Entertainment, the company behind the game, had collapsed, the future of the game was unknown. Luckily it has been reported that Konami's acquired the game.
Variety reports that Konami has signed deals with Lionsgate, who has the film rights, and Zombie Studios, the developer.
The game is scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, and will debut around the time of the 6th film. No screenshots have been made available as of yet, but Variety claims the game will maintain an "M" rating, in keeping with the graphic nature of the film series.
