The week one sales numbers are in and according to Capcom, Street Fighter IV has shipped a whopping 2 million copies. Keep in mind that these are copies shipped, not so much purchased. But knowing the rabid fanbase Street Fighter has, these games won't be on shelves for long.Two million is also the number of hadoukens that were thrown within the first few hours of Street Fighter IV's release. The hadouken was followed closely by E. Honda's hundred handslap which rang in at 1.5 million uses.
Those last numbers were made up, but if you've played Street Fighter IV online... it's totally believable.
