Attention early adopters and people who have always wanted dual cameras on your Nintendo DS! Nintendo's DSi handheld, the third iteration of its money printing mobile gaming device, will hit U.S. shelves on April 5th.
Speculations regarding the DSi's price have fluctuated since the system's announcement, but Nintendo of America has locked it in at a modest $169.99. Not too shabby. A more dire problem for consumers may be that the DSi will only see two colors, blue and black, at its release.
If you're out of the loop or simply addicted to reading and can't stop regardless of how boring this is, the DSi features wider screens than the DS lite with two cameras (one facing the player and one facing away) attached as well. The DSi also sports an SD card slot that can be used to store fat beats (see Tuesday Tuneage) as well as games and features downloaded through the new DSiWare store.
If and when you go to pick your DSi up at the Ye Olde Game Shoppe, tell them OLG sent you. If they respond at all, please let us know.
