The rumor that Mario & Sonic would team up again for a Winter Olympics game have been confirmed. Dennis Kim, licensing and merchandising for the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver has revealed all, maybe without even realizing it."Last year, 2008, [Sega] had a very successful game using Mario and Sonic and the Beijing Games, as well as a multi-sport simulation type of game," said Kim. "That's what's being discussed and planned for Vancouver."
Kim also elaborates, claiming Sega wants "to get a real sense of accuracy, particularly with the landscape and the venues and the look of the Games."
The game will presumably launch around the time of the 2010 Winter Games.
