EA and Steven Spielberg have confirmed that a sequel to the critically acclaimed Boom Blox is near release."Boom Blox Bash Party is a wild social gaming experience," Spielberg said. "We know families and friends really enjoyed playing the original Boom Blox together, so we designed more explosive multiplayer experiences with Boom Blox Bash Party."
The game will feature the ability to download other user's levels via Nintendo WFC.
Boom Blox Bash Party will be available this spring for the Wii.

Based on the reviews of the first game, I am excited to get my hands on this newer version. I may be new to the wii scene, but I think I can recognize a good game when I see one.
