New PSP Colors for Japan

The PSP has been struggling in the sales arena as of late. Usually, the best way to cause a spike in sales is to introduce a new color. The PSP must have needed extra help, because Sony is introducing 4 new colors.These bright "carnival colors" will be available this March in Japan. "Vibrant Blue" and "Radiant Red" will be released on March 5th, for $223 US, while "Bright Yellow" and "Spirited Green" will be available March 19th.

All four colors also come in a value pack ($270US) which comes with Memory Stick PRO Duo 4GB, a battery pack and a matching colored case.

No word yet on whether these colors will see a US release.
