Playing Doctor Gets Nerdy

In its most recent press release, publisher/developer Ubisoft announced that Grey's Anatomy the videogame will be hitting shelves in early 2009. The fact that it's only being released for the PC, Wii, and DS suggests some surgical controls ala Trauma Center, but few details have been released.

This pic doesn't elaborate on controls, but Grey's just outsold GTA IV.

The game is touted to have an original story that allows you to interact with all your favorite medical staff of Seattle Grace. So regardless of where your allegiances lie on the McDreamy vs. McSteamy debate, take solace in knowing that you can choose for yourself within the next few months.

Other details, like Dr. Burke's hands, are shaky at best. I think it's safe to say there will be love triangles, strains on friendship, narration, ridiculous medical problems, crying, making up, making out, and surgery. Who knows, maybe you can stay up baking cookies all night with Izzy like she did after her boyfriend's heart transplant didn't work out. I guess that was more out of depression than her love for tasty treats though…
