Sony has just announced that new updates will soon be available for both of its consoles.The PS3 will be receiving a major update, Firmware 2.6. The main new feature is called the Photo Gallery, where you can view, organize and create using your uploaded photos. Also being added, is support for DivX 3.11, and guest access to the PlayStation Store. This is really just a feature to help anyone browse the store. Those who want to purchase will have to register.
The PSP will just get a small update to help improve stability during use of some of the system's features.
