Top 5 Games Sold in 2008

NPD has reported its list of the top games of 2008. As no surprise to anyone, Wii Play has taken the top spot. Although it's been said time and time again, I really do wonder how many copies the game would have sold without the bundled Wii Remote.

Here's the top 5 games:

1. Wii Play (Wii) 5.28m
2. Madden NFL '09 (Multi) 5.25m
3. Grand Theft Auto IV (Multi) 5.22m
4. Mario Kart w/ Wheel (Wii) 5.00m
5. Call of Duty: World at War (Multi) 4.63m

Just to note, Madden's sales were based on the total of all 11 versions of the game that exist. Did anyone actually know that 11 versions existed?
