Well, that elusive countdown we mentioned last week on Square-Enix's Final Fantasy XIII site has turned out to be one swanky trailer. Emphasis on the swanky.
For a company as secretive as Squeenix I have to say I'm impressed with how much the trailer shows. All of the dialogue is in Japanese, so I have no idea what the actual story is, but information is abundant regardless.
There are several fight sequences showing off the basics of the combat system which looks to be ripe with combos and animations. The production values seem to be at the expected Squeenix high and suffice it so say that I am excited for the game.
