Aside from a brief Nintendo Power article, and a few early screenshots, not much has been said about the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Wii game. Thanks to NGamer magazine, we got some more info!The game will officially be called TMNT: Smash UP. The graphics will be darker and grittier than previous turtle titles. Also, real-world inspired locations will be included, such as the turtles home of Manhattan. The game environments will change during match play, much like they did in some Smash Bros. levels.
The gameplay will be similar to Smash Bros., in that you defeat opponents by knocking them off the stage area, or depleting their health meter. Your health meter can be recharged by eating pizza, of course. While the attacks will not be motion controlled, you can use motion controls in other aspects of the game.
There will be a single player story mode, which is being written by TMNT co-creator Peter Laird, and 4 player online fighting has been confirmed.
I can not wait!
