Japanese publisher/developer Jaleco has decided to close its doors. Jaleco, is known for publishing such NES titles as Bases Loaded, City Connection and The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.Jaleco Holdings, the parent company, has transferred all ownership of games subsidiary Jaleco to Game Yarou.
Jaleco names the "increasing competition in recent years in the video game market" as their main reason for exiting the gaming market.
Wonder if this has any impact on any upcoming releases for the Wii's virtual console.
