YouTube's official blog has just announced that the video service is headed to your TV, courtesy of the PS3 and Wii."Have you ever wanted to just sit on your couch and watch YouTube on your TV?" the blog asks. All you have to do is visit the website, www.youtube.com/tv. The site will offer a "dynamic, lean-back, 10-foot television viewing experience through a streamlined interface that enables you to discover, watch and share YouTube video on any TV screen..."
Although you were technically able to use YouTube on the Wii and PS3's Internet Browsers previously, this new dedicated service features a much more user friendly experience, with bigger text and simplier navigations, all with a controller in mind.
With the Wii's own new video service launching later this year, it seems we are losing reasons to ever leave our living rooms again.
