Way of the Samurai Makes Its Way to 360

It's time to brush off your katana and dig under the bed for your stockpile of honor, because the adventure game series Way of the Samurai is ronin' its way over to the Xbox 360.  Since the first game on the Playstation 2, WotS has been a Sony exclusive.  Way of the Samurai 3 was released on on the PS3 in November.  But since the Japanese seem a little ho-hum about buying anything they can't play on two screens with a stylus these days, its sales were lackluster.  To make up the difference, developer Acquire and Spike will be porting the game to Microsoft's big beige box this February.  In Japan, that is.  No word yet if we'll see a 360 release in North America.

I played the original Way of the Samurai back in 2002 and really enjoyed it.  So much so that I'm now wondering why I never played either of the sequels.  It might be because there was this creepy guy who always stole anything samurai-related from the video store where I used to rent all my games.  He always carried around a bamboo kendo stick he called Christine.  Nice guy.
