A rumor has surfaced that suggests Pilotwings Wii is not only a reality, but it's near completion. According to French site LiveWii, the game will debut within the first half of the year.The rumor also suggests the game will support Balance Board control and Mii integration.
While we've been hearing rumors since E3 2006 of a potential Pilotwings return, it does seem likely now more than ever. Especially since Nintendo's core fans are growing impatient.
Pilotwings made its debut on the SNES, but it wasn't until Pilotwings 64 that I became such a fan of the series. If a new iteration does release this year, then it would land 13 years after Pilotwings 64!
